My name is Melissa and I handcraft beef fat (Tallow) into beautifully nourishing products for your skin. A little bit about me, you can basically always find me outside (hunting, hiking with my pups, walking, running, laughing, eating, you name it). Cowboy Tallow Co. LLC is located in Bozeman, MT and so is my heart.

A little bit about how I came to discover tallow skincare and learning the art of making my own...

After struggling with mold toxin illness, my body hit a point where it could no longer tolerate the everyday products I once used. Things that seemed "normal" suddenly weren't. Fragrances, chemicals, synthetic ingredients caused reactions for me.

I had to start paying attention to what I was putting on my skin and in my everyday life. it all mattered

And the more I learned, the more I realized how disconnected we've become from what's actually good for us.

So I went back to the basics.

Simple nourishing ingredients.

This led me to tallow-based skincare and a more intentional, non-toxic lifestyle.

Everything I create now comes from that mindset. Not just wanting better products, but needing and craving them. Wanting to feel safe in what I use every day. Wanting to heal, not just cover things up.

These products are for anyone who has been forced to question what they're absorbing in their body… and chose to do something about it.
